We will be electing/re-electing 1 of 5 board members as well as discussing information about important future plans.

1. Eventual incorporation of mainland Lakeside docks into the club... the numbers.

2. election of 1 board member - term of Lynn Wolters expires - 1 vote per member cottage

3. Dues - schedule runs August to August

5. Emergency equipment report

6. Promoting club activities, e.g. island nature inventory (using phone apps like iNaturalist Seek) scavenger hunts, lectures, cleanup activities. Formation of a LIC program committee?

BREAKING NEWS!!! NEIGHBORS IN ACTION :Summer 2025

Mission

The Lakeside Islanders Club (LIC) was created as a social and recreational club. It is meant to revive long-time events like the Old Salt Race and Pot Luck Lunch, to mention a couple, and to organize and support new activities for summer residents of Coryell Island, Boot Island, Gravelly Island, and Cove Island. The bottom line is more fun, more sense of community, and more things for adults and kids to do.

The social aspect of the club means parties, events, outings, picnics, and campfires. The recreational aspect means events involving sailing, kayaking, and other kinds of water sports, hiking, bird-watching, arts and crafts, almost anything you can think of.
